This past Sunday, 9th June, we hosted a fantastic Summer BBQ event for our residents, and it was an absolute blast! Despite the weather not being as sunny as we had hoped, the community spirit shone brightly as residents came together to celebrate and enjoy a delightful afternoon.

We kicked off the event with a skilled bartender who crafted refreshing Caipirinhas and classic Gin & Tonics. Alongside these delightful cocktails, we offered a selection of beers and wines to cater to everyone’s preferences. The live singer added a wonderful touch to the ambience, serenading us with beautiful music that perfectly complemented the relaxed and joyous atmosphere.

Of course, no BBQ is complete without a delicious spread of food, and we did not disappoint. Our menu featured a variety of options to satisfy all taste buds. Residents enjoyed halloumi burgers, cheeseburgers, and hot dogs, each grilled to perfection. Accompanying these mains were tasty sides of potato wedges and fresh salad, providing a balanced and flavourful meal. To wrap things up on a sweet note, we indulged in decadent brownies and creamy ice cream for dessert, much to everyone’s delight.
What truly made the event special was the sense of community. It was heartwarming to see residents coming together, sharing a meal, and engaging in lively conversations. Some residents met new neighbours for the first time, quickly connecting and exchanging ideas for future events and gatherings. This sense of camaraderie and mutual enjoyment was a testament to the strong and vibrant community we have in our building.

In addition to the fun and food, we also had a few tours for prospective residents. The event provided a perfect opportunity to showcase our amazing building and the welcoming community spirit within it. The enticing aroma of BBQ wafting through the building added to the charm, making a great impression on our visitors.

Seeing our residents come together, have fun, and build connections is what makes our community so special.
