Absolutely, we do ask for a five-week deposit to secure your apartment. Don’t worry, though – you will receive this deposit back when you move out, provided the apartment is returned in satisfactory condition. It’s just a way to ensure your apartment maintains the quality of our spaces.
At Node, our apartments come fully furnished with all the essentials, including a washing machine, dishwasher, oven, electric hob, retro fridge/freezer, table, chairs, sofa, rug, bed, mattress and smart storage throughout the apartment.
For your convenience, we bundle utilities like WiFi, electricity, and water into a small, fixed fee, which is reconciled every quarter. If your usage exceeds the bundle, you’ll pay the difference, and if not, you’ll receive a credit toward your future bills. The only additional bill you’ll be responsible for is the council tax.
We aim to simplify your living experience and provide you with everything you need for a comfortable stay.
Our bundled bill rate is currently set at £200 per month for single occupancy and £225 per month for double occupancy. Please note that these rates are based on the year 2023 and may be subject to change in the future. This fee covers the costs of water, electricity and Wifi, which we pass onto our tenants for their convenience.
We have specific agreements in place with our utility providers to ensure competitive rates, and we bundle the charges for a more convenient and hassle-free system for our residents.
Parking is not available within the building. However, you may be eligible to apply for parking permits through Lambeth Council, except for residents in our penthouse collection, as Lambeth Council regulations for 2023 do not extend to penthouse residents.
Certainly! We provide communal bicycle storage located outdoors near the communal garden area. Access codes will be provided to residents upon completing their agreements.
Each apartment has been thoughtfully curated to provide comfort and essential amenities. We appreciate your desire to personalise the space. While we cannot remove any furniture due to limited storage, you are welcome to bring your own furnishings to make it truly your own.
Certainly! You are welcome to have friends and family visit and stay over. While they are staying, you are responsible for ensuring they follow the community rules within the communal spaces and your apartment. If your friends or family plan to stay for an extended period of more than 2-3 weeks, please inform the community manager for our records.
The application process is straightforward. Once you’ve selected the apartment you want to make your home, you can pay a £300 application fee to secure the apartment while we conduct reference checks. We partner with a third-party company called Home Made to assist with these reference checks. The checks typically take 5-15 working days (please note that if you’re an international resident, you must have a visa before applying).
Once your checks are completed, we’ll send you our agreement for review and your signature. At this point, we’ll also request a 5-week deposit, one month’s rent and the utility fee. The £300 you initially paid will be deducted from the deposit amount.
We do offer the option of both in-person and virtual visits. We aim to provide the best experience while respecting the comfort and privacy of existing roommates in shared units.
Absolutely! We are pet lovers here. Our 1- and 2-bedroom apartments are pet friendly. However, please be aware that there may be some breed and weight restrictions. We charge a monthly fee of £75 per pet to ensure they have a comfortable stay too.
